Post 4 - A travel to the past
Many times my mind lingers on the simple idea of being present in the past or in the future. And if it were a continuous question where I would place myself, I would choose the past a thousand times. I think there are many things that I would have liked to experience, but at the same time to relive and remember over and over again.
The simple fact of seeing people that are no longer with me, experiencing certain situations that kept me with a smile on my face, going to that place that I loved so much or even that trip that lasted so little and that I would gladly repeat.
In spite of all the moments I would love to experience, one that I am very interested in visiting would be the 80s and 90s. Mostly because of the great musical vibe and the fashion that rocked the streets back then. To be able to live the hit of the moment, to dance at the biggest parties, to have crazy fun as they used to do in those times. Seeing and enjoying the presence of my family in their youth, going out and playing with my mother's teenager.
I also think that something I often think about, is to be able to discover that era where it all began, the great mysteries that existed throughout history, the wonderful myths and tales of the people, those legendary legends of barbarians everywhere, just like a tale invented in the middle of the night. As much as I would like to stay in these great eras (at least for me) of our immense history, I believe that being able to return to my present would be a relief, since it is my world, where I really feel fulfilled in spite of all circumstances. The story goes on, the anecdotes will come by the bucketload, I will be in the greatest battles, who knows what wonders my present will bring? And I will be able to live it until the end of my days.
How beautiful your wishes. I had never thought of visiting my family in their youth. That's a good idea! :)
